Hannah Solomon was born and raised in Austin, Texas as the youngest of six kids. She regularly participated in her local and high school theatre companies, and found a home away from home in the community behind the curtain.
After graduating high school, she attended a year long Study Abroad Program in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Year Course gave her the opportunity to immerse and study a different culture, volunteer in local and foreign communities, and spend time traveling Europe.
After graduating Year Course, Hannah moved to Massachusetts to study at Boston University. She is a current senior in the School of Theatre BFA Design and Production Program. She is also pursuing a minor in the College of Communication's Film and Television department.
Post-graduation, Hannah hopes to attain a resident apprenticeship at a regional theatre or opera company, preferably somewhere with hiking trails and an international airport. Following this, she plans on moving to New York as a freelance designer, electrician, and programmer.
Hannah will be designing Laughs In Spanish at Boston Playwrights' Theatre in January, and Dead House in April.
She will also be working on her undergraduate thesis, The Earth is Red in March.
